Baby Photo Shoot: Little Harrison

Sunday afternoon I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting the adorable Harrison, along with his lovely mommy and "big brother" Charlie, the family Golden Retriever. Harrison aka Harry, is such a sweet and calm baby. And have I mentioned that he is also incredibly adorable!?!? :) I'll add some more pics to my blog soon, but in the meantime, here is a sneak peak (or you can also check out some of my favorites on my fb page at http://www.facebook.com/andiealbersphoto)

Thanks little Harry for being so much fun to capture!

Maternity Shoot: Soon-to-be Baby Jennings

Last weekend I did a maternity shoot for an amazing couple that will make their future baby one very lucky child. These two are way too adorable and Jennie is one of the most beautiful mommies to be I've seen. They made it super easy to capture some great moments of them on this phase of their journey.

J&J - You guys rock! I can't wait to meet Baby Jennings!

Every mom-to-be needs a silhouette shot...

I really didn't want to do the cheesy "hands make a heart" pic, so this is my twist on that :)...

More photos of the Jennings' shoot can be found on my site: www.andiealbersphoto.com under Portraits/Maternity.

Gus our Little Piglet

In June we adopted our little Gus, a Puggle with way too much energy, but an adorable personality you just can't resist. He's been quite the hand full, but totally worth it. This weekend he conquered going up and down the stairs for the first time ever. It was very exciting and Jake even captured it on film. We kind of know what parents feel like when their human children walk for the first time! So, in honor of Gus' big weekend, I captured some fun shots of him this afternoon. Our little boy is growing up...

The Nelson

I miss summer ... especially as a photographer! I did a shoot last week and it was a quick, 30 minutes, but my fingers were so numb that I couldn't even push the buttons on my cam! Anyway, I thought I'd highlight some shots I took this summer of the gorgeous Nelson Atkins Museum. I can't wait for it to be warm outside again so I can go venturing around my wonderful city for more shoots like this...

Kayden & Alexis

I started my morning with a photo shoot of the very loved (not too mention adorable) little Kayden and Alexis. They were both so great about letting me snap away despite the fun playground within site. I'm still rummaging through the pics, but so far these are among my faves...

K & A - Thanks for letting me take your pictures! You are both so beautiful! :)

the union of carrie & zac

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of helping shoot the wedding of Carrie and Zac. It was so awesome to witness the union of two individuals so deeply in love the way these two are.

C&Z - Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day. Your love and respect for one another is exactly how I believe God intended marriage to be.

My favorite part of this pic is Zac's dad throwing up the peace sign ... so stinking cute!

Carrie's mom and dad are the sweetest people on earth (explaining why Carrie is so amazing) ... and I just love this close up of their hands.

I've been slacking ... but for good reasons!?

It's been FOREVER since I updated my poor blog; however, my absence is due to good reason! I've been planning my wedding! Woo hoo. I've already updated my blog name/address ... what can I say, I'm so eager to become Mrs. Jacob Albers! I've also had the pleasure of shooting some wonderful people lately. SO, I promise to get back in the blogging mode immediately ... so stay tuned!

In the meantime, here is a pic of me and my amazing fiance taken by my wonderful friend, Taylor Saalfield.
